Stainless Countersunk Screws or Flat Head screws of all types are listed below including Machine Screws,
Chipboard screws and Self Tapping Screws. Stainless Countersunk Screws are used where a good degree of
corrosion resisitance is required. Varying drive types are available along with A2 and A4 grade stainless
steels.
A countersunk headed screw conforming with ISO 10642 or DIN 7991, requiring a hex key (otherwise known
as an Allen key) to fit. The countersunk head is typically used in conjunction with a countersunk hole
providing a flush, snag free fit. Generally manufactured with a full thread, though occasionally some
stock may include a partially threaded shank. The head diameter is slightly larger than that of the equivalent
DIN 965 Phillips or Pozi driven screw.
A popular machine screw with a phillips drive. The countersunk head is typically used in conjunction
with a countersunk hole providing a flush, snag free fit. These items are always fully threaded. Conforms
to DIN 965. Typically found on consumer electronics and other small machinery where high torque fasteners
are not necessary.
Also known as star, 6 lobe, and hexalobular internal. Torx screws are commonly found on cars, motorcycles,
bicycle brake systems, hard disk drives, computer systems and consumer electronics and are becoming increasingly
popular. Once, they were typically used in applications requiring tamper resistance; as drivers became
more common, specific tamper-resistant variants were developed. The Torx design allows for a higher torque
to be exerted than a similarly sized conventional hex socket head.
A popular machine screw with a pozi drive. The countersunk head is typically used in conjunction with
a countersunk hole providing a flush, snag free fit. These items are always fully threaded. Conforms
to DIN 965. Typically found on consumer electronics and other small machinery where high torque fasteners
are not necessary.
A tamper resistant torx driven screw requiring specialist drive tooling to fit and remove. The countersunk
head is typically used in conjunction with a countersunk hole providing a flush, snag free fit. Great
for anti-vandalism solutions or where a degree of security is required. Also known as Star Drive or Six
Lobe Drive. Please call us if the multi-tool security drive bits are required.
To DIN 966. A countersunk headed screw incorporating a slightly raised head which gives it an attractive
finish when fitted. This variant is Pozi driven and a very popular fixing.

A countersunk headed screw conforming with ASME/ANSI B18.3, requiring a hex key (otherwise known as an
Allen key) to fit. The countersunk head is typically used in conjunction with a countersunk hole providing
a flush, snag free fit. Generally manufactured with a full thread, though occasionally some stock may
include a partially threaded shank.

A countersunk headed screw incorporating a slightly raised head which gives it an attractive finish when
fitted. Includes a phillips cross recess for driving in. Manufactured to ANSI/ASME B18.6.3.
General purpose wood screws with a pozidriv countersunk head. The countersunk head is typically used
in conjunction with a countersunk hole providing a flush, snag free fit. Standard A2 stainless steel
and the marine grade A4 stainless steel are particularly good where the screw heads are visible in outdoor
or in humid/wet enviroments, such as bathrooms and kitchens. Where we have part thread versions, we have
listed them separately below. We also stock the stainless steel torx drive version of these wood screws.
Please note that the head shape can vary between a countersunk, double countersunk, and bugle shape.

General purpose wood screws with a Torx drive; also known as star, 6 lobe, and hexalobular internal.
The torx drive is designed to prevent "cam out", which makes them ideal for use with modern drill/drivers.

General purpose wood screws with a pozidrive raised countersunk head. Raised countersunks tend to be
used where the screw head is going to be seen, as it gives a more attractive look than the flat countersunk
and a softer edge. A countersunk head is typically used in conjunction with a countersunk hole providing
a flush, snag free fit. Please note, these screws can sometimes come with a partially threaded shank.

These attractive 5-Lobe Pin security machine screws offer an improved tamper resistance compared to the
more commonly available 6-Lobe Pin drive. The tooling is therefore more specialised and harder for members
of the public to get hold of. Also known as torx plus or pentalobe screws, this variant has a countersunk
head. Torx and other lobed designs allows for a higher torque to be exerted than a similarly sized conventional
hex socket head.
