Hex Bolts

Hex Bolts, Hex Screws or Hex Caps (USA). These types of fasteners are staple across many industries worldwide and most often used in conjunction with a nut. Hex Bolts are generally fastened by a spanner or rachet and socket but we do offer some with a Slot in the Hex head that can be tightened with a slotted screwdriver; these are used where access for securing is limited. Available in A2, A4, Brass, Nylon and Zinc Plated Steel. We offer fully and partially threaded variants along with Hex Flange Bolts which can be used without the need of a free spinning washer.
Material Key
A2
A2 Stainless Steel - also known as grade 304 or 18/8. A general purpose grade of stainless steel.
A4
A4 Stainless Steel - also known as grade 316 or 18/8/3. A higher corrosion resistant, marine grade of stainless steel.
A4-80
A4-80 Stainless Steel - identical corrosion resistance to A4-70 but with a higher tensile strength equivalent to that of 8.8 high tensile steel.
BRASS
Brass - offers an attractive, corrosion resistant finish.
BZP-10.9
Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) Class 10 high tensile steel - a high strength non-stainless grade for screws and bolts, with a basic level of corrosion resistance.
BZP-8.8
Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) Class 8 high tensile steel - the general purpose non-stainless grade for screws and bolts, with a basic level of corrosion resistance.
BZP-G5
Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) USA grade 5 high tensile steel - equivalent to UK class 8, a general purpose non-stainless grade with a basic level of corrosion resistance.
Nylon
Nylon (polyamide) - a tough lightweight plastic, tough at low temperaures, with excellent resistance to chemicals and features a favourable sliding friction behaviour.
