Then using a pneumatic powered or hand rivet nut tool, the body of the rivet nut will be compressed to form a bulge, without damaging the threaded part. Installed correctly, the hexagonal rivet nut will grip the sheet metal creating a fixing point. The hexagonal shaped rivet nut prevents slipping or spinning. The closed end allows for these rivet nuts to be used in applications where a seal is required.
