A2 stainless steel Ulti-Mate branded Torx-type/star drive wood screws. Each box includes a Phillips HEXSTIX driver bit, specially engineered to grip and align with the screw head for improved drive engagement compared with conventional Torx screws and bits.
The countersunk head features ribs underneath that help cut a clean countersunk recess as the screw is driven into the timber. The Type 17 slash point is designed to cut through even hard timber, reducing the need for a pre-drilled pilot hole. The slash point is fitted only to screws with more than 30 mm of thread.
Ulti-Mate stainless steel wood screws feature a thicker core for increased strength and durability. A wax lubricant coating reduces driving torque, allowing the screws to be inserted more easily and efficiently.
