Stainless Steel Screws Chipboard and Wood Screws
Stainless steel screws for woodworking assembly and fabrication. Stainless steel screws are preferred
in outdoor or in humid or wet conditions, such as bathrooms or kitchens. Available in A2 and A4 grade
stainless steel where stated.
General purpose wood screws with a Torx drive; also known as star, 6 lobe, and hexalobular internal.
The torx drive is designed to prevent "cam out", which makes them ideal for use with modern drill/drivers.
The countersunk head is typically used in conjunction with a countersunk hole providing a flush, snag
free fit. Please note that the head shape can vary between a countersunk, double countersunk, and bugle
shape.

General purpose wood screws with a pozidriv countersunk head. The countersunk head is typically used
in conjunction with a countersunk hole providing a flush, snag free fit. Standard A2 stainless steel
and the marine grade A4 stainless steel are particularly good where the screw heads are visible in outdoor
or in humid/wet enviroments, such as bathrooms and kitchens. Where we have part thread versions, we have
listed them separately below. We also stock the stainless steel torx drive version of these wood screws.

Wood screw eye bolts, also known as vine eyes and wood screw lag thread eye bolts are suitable for a
wide range of outdoor and indoor applications. The wood screw thread allows them to be directly screwed
into timber and with the addition of a rawl plug, they can be used in masonry too. Made in marine grade
A4 (316) stainless steel, these wood screw eye bolts are good for plant training, espaliering and green
oak applications. They also look smart for indoors uses, such as displays.

General purpose wood screws with a pozidrive raised countersunk head. Raised countersunks tend to be
used where the screw head is going to be seen, as it gives a more attractive look than the flat countersunk
and a softer edge. A countersunk head is typically used in conjunction with a countersunk hole providing
a flush, snag free fit. Please note, these screws can sometimes come with a partially threaded shank.
