DIN 6923 - Serrated Hex Flange Nut

This product guide contains the specification for metric serrated hex flange nuts, a series of standard parts available from Westfield Fasteners. The basis of this specification is the DIN standard DIN 6923.

Product Description

A hexagon nut with serrated flange, to DIN 6923. The flange offers protection for the bolted component where the driving tool may otherwise scratch it's surface. The flange also lessens the need to use a washer. This particular version has serrations on the base. A non-serrated variant is also available.

Din 6923 for hexagon nuts with flange, specifies the form, dimensions and tolerances for coarse and fine pitch thread variants, with nominal diameters from M5 up to and including M20.
