DIN 6923 - Plain Hex Flange Nuts

This product guide contains the specification for metric plain hex flange nuts, a series of standard parts available from Westfield Fasteners. The basis of this specification is the DIN standard DIN 6923.

Product Description

A hexagon nut with plain unserrated flange, to DIN 6923. The flange offers protection for the bolted component where the driving tool may otherwise scratch its surface. The flange also lessens the need to use a washer. This particular version is non-serrated on the base. A serrated variant is also available.

Scope of the DIN standard.

DIN 6923 for hexagon nuts with flange, specifies the form, dimensions and tolerances for coarse and fine pitch thread variants, with nominal diameters from M5 up to and including M20.
